I had this problem using my iPod. At first no problem, then I turned on Bluetooth and got the identical problem.

I turned off Bluetooth and everything works fine.

I had the same problem. I read a suggestion that I clean the port into which the headphone jack goes, but it was not dirty. I cleaned the headphone jack post and the problem resolved.
