I have read almost every forum related to my issue and nothing is working

I purchased an album through my iphone on itunes. Then when I opened my itunes on my mac, it shows up (I have imatch) and the cloud brought it over. When I moved it to a playlist, it told me it would remove it from the icloud. Okay, but it won't play - the entire album! I only have 1 authorized computer, it shows up in purchased, and it still won't play.

what do I do?

MacBook Pro, iOS 6.1.4

Hi londongrrrl!

I have an article for you that can help you troubleshoot the issue you are seeing. First, you may want to try deleting the album from your computer and redownloading it to the computer, following the steps listed in the article below:

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

If you are still having trouble playing the album after following these steps, you may want to try further troubleshooting with iTunes Match. There is an article that can help guide you through that process, and it can be found here:

iTunes Store: Troubleshooting iTunes Match

http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4054

There is also a feature available through iTunes that will automatically download any new purchased music from your iTunes account to your computer that may be helpful to you. An article on that feature can be found here:

iTunes Store: How to enable Automatic Downloads

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

Thank you Braden for all the info.

However, after looking at every single one of the links - my purchases are still not playing.

I have looked in the purchased and there is a greyed out downloaded button - which won't allow me to redownload it.

It is saved in my purchased playlist, as well as my soundtracks playlist. I get a message saying it isn't eligible for the icloud playlist and has been removed.

So the songs are there, I can play them on my iPhone, but not my iTunes. I have deauthorized all computers, and just have my single mac computer authorized, but it was authorized when I purchased the songs from my itunes store via my iphone.

It is really frustrating and I'm not sure what else to do. Can you help?

Thank you.

Hi again londongrrrl!

The only other suggestion I have for you is to report the issue to iTunes support and let's get them in on this, since it seems like a more complicated issue than I thought it would be. The steps on how to report this issue to iTunes support can be found right here:

How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase

Hope that gets it cleared up!

Cheers,

Braden
