in keynote and pages the project is viewed in inversion colours. cannot change it to show in origin. so, cannot create effective ppt or pages.

I use it on Macbook air. trial version. (i cannot buy it as i am a foreigner and work in China. no visa card and cannot open it as in china for foreigners they do not open).

i am really tired. already 3 days trying to create a normal ppt but its preview is shown in inversion colors. i tried to push every bottom and every option in the menu - no option to change preview on origin color style. as a result - no ppt and no pages. i start to hate macbook as i still keep dependent on my laptop with microsoft windows.

i took a trial version of iwork as i need to use excel, pages and ppt along for my work. realy hate macbook as it makes me limited.

Buy the full version? And where exactly did you get a "trial version" of Keynote?

Have you considered getting Office for Mac?  That will ensure maximum compatibility.  The free OpenOffice may also do what you need.

How about asking in the Keynote forum?

If you have inverted colours in an Pages or Keynote something is really wrong.

You better get a free application like LibreOffice as the iWork trial will not save after 30 days of use.

You are using OSX 10.8.2, current version is OSX 10.8.3.

    How did you install iWork?

Did you update iWork after you installed it? It is now at version 4.3 and it sounds like you have an older version, not updated for the Retina display.

PS You say you can't use this?

Honestly, the reference to a "trial version" of iWorks is "curious". I suspect it is in fact a pirated version or a counterfeit.

Beats me why the O.P. didn't just get a "trial version" of Ms Office and be done with it.

I cannot buy because I am in China now. I need to refill my Visa cards in my country but I am unsure when will i go there. and here i am not allowed to open Mastercard or Visa, as i do not have Chinese citizenship.

In appstore no LibreOffice. May be my location influences somehow on the Appsrote ?

I downloaded an instalation file of a trial version. found it in google. it looks like very official and has references on appstore along. I did not update Iwork as it didn't require any updates.

PS. yes, cannot use pages and keynote on my macbook air.

Google LibreOffice, it is not in the App Store.

I can guarrantee that if you had a demo iWork '09 installer, it requires updating, as I said to v4.3.

Can't you top up your Credit Card or have a Debit Card for your transactions over the Internet with your bank?

How are you surviving day to day in China without banking and or cards?

May be you're right. so, i deleted Iwork Trial and now use OpenOffice. but still looking for a way to get Iwork =) as I am willing to use it and cannot wait months while i will go to my country and will be able to pay for this app from my card.

Now have another problem ) i deleted Iwork but still have icons in the menu. cannot delete them.
