The MD199-whatever are Part numbers of Apple's latest model, the A1469, which is the Apple TV 3rd Gen RevA (also called Rev2). The same modelshfave different Part numbers for different parts of the world.
From a functionality standpoint the big differences from the 3rd Gen Model A1427 is that the 3rd Gen RevA (currently $69) has the Peer-to-peer AirPlay, as noted in the tech specs at http://store.apple.com/us/buy-appletv/appletv
