Q: My iphone 4s is acting quirky.  I will be in mid application and it will shut down.  does anyone know what is going on?  it runs out of battery quickly also and i shut down unused apps and shut screen off when it is not in use.  it gets hot to the touch

My Iphone 4s is acting quirky.  I will be in midapp (e.g. a game or text message) and it will shut down.  It runs hot and runs out of battery.  I shut down apps that I am not using and turn the screen off when I am not using it.  Does anyone know what could be causing this?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3
