Launchpad not working right

Hello,

I installed the app netgear genie since then my launchpad is malfunctioning.

All my personal launchpad settings are gone. I just see the default programs of the launchpad.

I can not add other programs to the launchpad also.

How can I repair the launchpad?

iTunes-OTHER, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), iTunes 11

Try resetting Launchpad to factory settings. To do it, open Terminal (in /Applications/Utilities) and copy:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db && killall Dock

Then, see if you can add apps to Launchpad and use it as usual. If not, delete the Dock settings file:

rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist && killall Dock
