Apple Hardware Test, Intel HD 4000 " 256 mo " Instead of " 512 "

Hello,

I did a Apple Hardware Test to check my system and it told me that my Intel HD 4000 has 256mo VRAM while it normally be at 512.

Indeed, I have 8Gos of memory. However, when I ask " more information " for my macbook it says that I have 512 ..

Can you please help me to find out the incoherence ?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

The Apple Hardware Test is just that, it doesn't have the ability to allocate more RAM to the Intel HD graphics as OS X isn't running.

So this is normal and not something to be concerned about.
