Q: Please help....

Hi

When I try and do the update like it says a box pops up and says 'The iPhone software update server could not be contacted' what am I doing wrong?

Are you using a Mac or PC? Have you ever been able to update or restore the iPhone on that computer?

Take a look at this Apple doc -> iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server

I am using a PC I dont think I have ever updated before but I have restored my iphone on this computer.
