Saved a few images to Dashboard. How can I get them out of there and save them to a file? Thanks

Don't understand the question. Actually, I don't understand or use Dashboard, but a few times when a site asked something like "do you want to send this image to Dashboard," I said yes, not knowing what I was doing.

So, is there any hope for me?

I click on Dashboard in Applications, it opens, there are the pictures. I can move them around Dashboard, but I can't copy or save them. I've tried to drag and drop them into files, the desktop, emails--nothing.

Thanks to BDAqua's trying to help, but surely I'm not the only one dumb enough to misuse dashboard? Isn't there someone out there who's done the same thing and found a solution? Sigh.
