I switched from normal hard drive to solid state drive and now FCP X will not export to burn a DVD. Any ideas out there?

Some people have had trouble with getting Create Disk to kick in after the encoding is finished. However, the typical error is a DSP Publishing message.
But try a fix that has worked for others: in the export window>settimgs, click the Add button (Background) then cancel.

It could be the media. Have you tried to export any other projects that don't use the same media?
Try a short section of another project – with the Share>DVD (output device set to HD) and another Share option.

Make sure there is no reference to a background image in the DVD dialog window if said image does not exist.

When you are getting the export in the BACKGROUND delete the number (120bmp in my case) and export again.
Final Cut Pro X is not exporting.
