Yes, I did it and it works!

I ejected two volumes now without Kernel Panic. So the Sophos software is not compatible with Lion? Thanks a lot for Your help Kappy. Janring

Thanks a lot, Kappy. Your were realy helpful. I was very annoyed by those repeating problems with my Mac shuting down everytime I used external device.
