My iPad will not hook to any computer and I am using the right USB port. It will not charge with either the computer or its regular charger. I can get the charger to work if I turn the iPad off and turn it back on. Can some please help?

First, try giving yuour iPad a reset. hold down the sleep and home keys past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
