Trouble with Safari Drop-Down Menu

My Safari drop-down menu disappears and mouse movement to top of page will not restore it. I am not in full page. I have to force quit. Any better solutions to address the problem? Thanks.

iMac, iOS 6.1.4

Drop down menu as in File > Edit > View etc?

If so, open Safari Preferences then select the Extensions tab.

Turn that off, quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Thank you. This seems to have stopped the problem. I am curious, though, if using Extensions is a problem is the only answer not to use them at all, which seems a shame? Or is it likely that one of them is causing a problem. Thanks, again.

If there are multiple extensions installed, one at a time click Uninstall for each extension until you find the culprit. You will need to quit and relaunch Safari for each extension to test.
