I bought an iphone 5 and i drpo damaged it.
I bought the iphone in india and can i get and out of warranty replacement for $269 in the US as my mother is flying to the US next week.
and will apple give me a replacement iphone free of cost.
I HAVE THE APPLE ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.

Like any warranty on any product, the iphone warranty does not cover damage.
You may be able to buy an out of warranty replacement. Why not try to do this in your country?

it is not available in my country.
even if it is the US will be cheaper.
it would be like $320 here.
The iPhone will only be replaced in the country of purchase.

well i went to an apple store and they replaced my iphone free of cost.
as they found out that the shield on the cable that stops the cable from coming out was not there so they termed it as a manufacturing defect.this is beacuse my touch was damaged not my screen.
without the shield the cable came out and the touch stopped working.

That's truly amazing Paul, considering that Apple doesn't have any stores in India. I'm just saying.
