Closed Caption

Greetings

I just bought the apple tv and am disappointed.

When I send to the tv the closed caption does not show.

I saw an answer saying to stream the movie to icloud to download to my apple tv, but I do not want to do this.

I am curious, I have been browsing the apple tv for movies and tv shows.

Some of them show cc besides the movie.

So if I rent the movie thru apple tv, would it show closed caption then?

Othewise why is Apple showing cc if it does not show.
