My iPad is nearly new and refuses to charge with the supplied power adaptor and cable. It starts to charge and shortly after says not charging help please

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

     

    Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation. If defective and within the 1 year warranty period, you'll get a replacement.
