iBooks dictionary issue

I have a problem getting iBooks to define words it just says "no definition found" when I try to define a word. Help ?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.1

I also have this problem constantly. Sometimes I can fix this by editing the original ePub file and specifying the language I want iBooks to use for definitions. But more often than not, iBooks just ignores the file's language and uses whatever it wants. I have downloaded four dictionaries, and when reading anything other than English it's impossible to predict which one iBooks will use...
