No problem so far with 1.1 - Check out my site

No problems so far.

I made a new practice website for my medical practice. It's still in the works but the basic format is done. Because there are no frames, I had to do a work around for the navigation bar on the left. I wanted to keep it simple and content oriented.

I would appreciate feedback on the appearance, style, navigation, layout and content. It's always a work in progress.

Nice site & I'd love to know the work-around to put the Navigation bar on the left as that's one of the frustrating things I've found. I've had very little experience of web design apart from using Pagemill some years ago & haven't really got time to learn HTML etc. so iWeb is something I want to see blossom into a really versatile tool. I had to put a site together quickly for my church (www.averyhill.info) & a number of things I wanted to do don't seem possible with iWeb - yet. As you say - it's always a work in progress!

Ian,

I used a blank white template from www.11mystics.com. Or you can go to a white template, erase everything and uncheck the "display navigation menu" box under Page in the inspector. For the navigation bar, they're simply text boxes, hyperlinked to another page on my site. Make the links, then drag and select all the boxes (after making the links), copy and paste on your new page. Then I went back to each page and bolded the text the the page was on. It loads a bit slower, but since it's mostly text based, it shouln't be a problem. Once you're on the site and go back and forth between pages, the pages are stored in your cache, so it loads instantly, and it looks like a frame.

Hope it helps.
