Q: How can I open the Battery case of my MagicMouse?

So my MagicMouse needs battery changing. However I don't know how to open the little box which contains batteries. Can somebody tell me how?

MacBook Pro, iOS 6.1.4

Hello Lydia,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I found an article with the steps you need to take to replace your batteries on your Magic Mouse:

To replace the batteries of an Apple wireless mouse:
Turn over the mouse and turn it off.
Remove the battery compartment cover and insert two AA batteries. Make sure the positive and negative ends are facing the correct direction, as shown below.
Replace the battery compartment cover.

You will need to pull the latch down as directed by the arrow in the first image to open the battery compartment.
