30 minute default?

I have Calendar Version 6.0 (1648)

Can new Calendar entries can be set to default to 30 minutes instead of 1 hour?

Also, is there a Calendar (versus iCal) community? I couldn't find one.

Thanks! -Michael

Michael,

How to make Lion's iCal less annoying | Macworld lists the Terminal command

defaults write com.apple.iCal 'Default duration in minutes for new event' 30

Although that article is written for iCal Lion, it also works in Calendar Mountain Lion, as long as you are using the Day/Week View for event entry.
