Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

1. It doesn't restore or sync
2. When I tried to restore it , the apple commanded that the server is not ready though I'm on line.
3. I tried following all commands but it still doesn't work.
3. Details on my itouch doesn't appear like serial no. Model etc. ( when I tried syncing to my other computer )
4. A cable pointing to iTunes appears in my itouch still appears and if I shut it down and open it up again still the same thing appears.
Really need your expertise on how I can restore my itouch .... Need your help badly

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
