So I've got a new pc, and have put all my music onto it but my iPod will not erase and sync, it just appears in iTunes, when I click sync it just sits there doing nothing, any help would be appreciated.

If your iPod seems to be unresponsive when communicating with iTunes, it may be best to run through the following troubleshooting assistant:
Apple - Support - iPod - iPod classic Troubleshooting Assistant

If all else fails, you can restore your iPod to factory settings (last step of the troubleshooting assistant):

The guide was no help and as I have already stated I have restored my iPod multiple times and it did nothing at all
My iPod can be seen but won't erase and sync with my new pc
