Brookstone rover, wi-fi wont connect

Brookstone rover, wi-fi won't connect, tried to reset, new batteries, airplane mode on, only get orange, blue light wont come on. Worked the 1st couple times, now just get orange light. Help! Was working on iPad 2 and iPod 4th, but now can't get to connect, the rovers wi-fi address no longer appears.
