Got a brand new Ipod 4g, worked fine until ran out of battery first time, it is in recovery mode it says when I connect to itunes store, then says to restore it, I click ok and the ipod then turns on but just shows and apple and a bar but nothing happens, itunes says waiting for ipod.

- Reboot the computer
- Try another USB port and cable
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Try DFU mode and then restore

i have done all that and still wont work.
- If you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try what I sad in my first reply again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
