Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My iPad keeps saying I am out of storage (I have the 5), but I only have 14 apps, 20 pictures, and 2 short videos (no music or iTunes anything). What is taking up so much space, and what can I do?

The "5" refers to 5GB of free iCloud storage. It does not refer to storage you're using on your iPad (directly).
To see what's using the 5GB, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage

The 5? There is no 5 for iPads.
Are you sure you have enough storage?
If you look in Settings->General->Usage what is the ammount of free space?
What is using the most space?
It says for iCloud that I have 5 GB total storage and 5GB available. It isn't backing anything up. Above that, for storage, it says that I have 72.9 MG available and 28.5 GB used.
I have e 5GB storage in iCloud, and none of it is being used... I wasn't sure before. I tried to download an app and it says that there's not enough storage. I have 72.9 MG of free space for the iPad storage, and an app I have called PlayTube (like YouTube, which was deleted when I updated my iPad) that is taking up the most space (23.4 GB).
There you go. 72.9 MG, is very little space. MG stands fro Megabytes. a gigabyte is made up of roughly 1000. Its practically full.
If you tap on the App under usage does it not give you an option to Delete it?

How much total space did you purchase on your iPad? 128GB? I'm guessing so.
Then I still don't know what "I have the 5" could possibly mean.
Now you're saying your deleted 23.4GB app (huge!! deleted!!) takes up the most space.
So to get rid of it completely, I suggest restoring your iPad. Plug it into iTunes, let it sync, then choose "Restore" from the iTunes while on the iPad's summary page.
Following on to Phil0124's comment, I believe "MB" stands for megabytes, not "MG". I took "MG" to be a typo. Actually, I thought it was a typo for "GB". But if Phil0124 is right, and it actually said "MB", then indeed he is correct, and your device is almost overflowing.
Do you by any chance know a way to download the YouTube app, and if it takes up space? Because last time I plugged my iPad into my computer, it asked if I wanted to update it. I did, and it deleted all of my apps and the youtube app. I got all of my old apps back, but I can't get youtube. That's why I got the other one.

The Apple supplied YouTube app was removed with iOS 6. You can download the (10MB) Google supplied YouTube app free from the App Store.
