Q: I upgraded to iPhoto 11 last year. I have been trying to buy a book and when I am half way in the uplaod, my MacBookPro seams to freeze. The process has taken more then 1 1/2 hours. Is there a bug in this version, or is the site crashed ?
I upgraded to iPhoto 11 last year. I have been trying to buy a book and when I am half way in the uplaod, my MacBookPro seams to freeze. The process has taken more then 1 1/2 hours. Is there a bug in this version, or is the site crashed ?

First see if you can create a pdf of the book according to this Apple document: Previewing an order in iPhoto. If you can then boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and try ordering the book from there.
If you can't create the pdf file in your account try to create it while booted into Safe Mode. If that's successful continue with the book order from the Safe Mode. Be sure to keep the pdf file to compare it with the hard copy of the book when it arrives.
