I had an ipad first generation last week I got new imac and my iTunes can not identify my iPad, what i can do to fix it?

I had an ipad first generation, last week I got my new Imac 2013 and my iTunes can not identify my iPad, what i can do to fix it?

since last 2 years my Ipad has been troubles with APP like ( Notability, Smurfs, etc...)


when i plug it to any computer , they can not read it.


help !!

1. Is your iPad fully stuffed up? Check up the free storage left.

2. Power hungry apps should have hardware related problems with your iPad as your's is an old one. Try restarting the device by pressing power+home.

3. Re-install iTunes to see if your iPad gets detected. Moreover as your iMac is a new one, try to get connected to a network before connecting your iPad to mac.
