Does Windows recognize Thunderbolt HDDs or SSD's?

If I purchase a Thunderbolt drive, will Windows recognize it? My only concern is that Thunderbolt isn't a native port on Windows 7. Thanks~!

(I'm running Windows 7, on a Mid 2011 iMac.)

Windows will detect your external disk without any problem. The Windows support software includes drivers for Thunderbolt, so you can use the Thunderbolt disk in Windows. If you have already installed it, you won't have any problem.

If you haven't installed the Windows support software, do it. If you have a 64-bit Windows 7, download this software version > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1638 If you have a 32-bit Windows 7 edition > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630
