Network connection stops when browsing network HDD

Here's my set-up:

Mac Mini with ML 10.8.3

Airport Extreme Router

Unpowered USB hub attached to Airport Extreme

(1) 3TB External HDD, (1) 2TB External HDD, and (1) USB Printer attached to USB hub

Disks shared over WAN

Problem: Anytime I browse my 3TB External Drive (named "NAS") over WAN and get to a certain file, connection drops from the mac completely. Also, when I try to paste a large amount of data (tried 500MB), cnnection drops as well.

Please note that I can access the drive over WAN perfectly with 100% functionality with my MacBook Pro, so it's not a HDD or router issue.

Here's the log when I browse to that "certain" file (NAS\Documents\Work\Pacsun\Data Sheets):

5/23/13 12:08:53.123 AM WindowServer[392]: CGXDisableUpdate: UI updates were forcibly disabled by application "Finder" for over 1.00 seconds. Server has re-enabled them.
