Q: retrieve music from itunes match

"I used a USB superdrive I had purchased to rip all my music from my CD collection and put in itunes.  I then purchased itunes match and sold all my CD's."

For the music you ripped from CD, once you've sold the disc you no longer have rights to posess a digital copy. Keeping a digital copy after selling your physical copy is called piracy. You cannot legitimize pirated works, even with iTunes match, but you can purchase the tracks from the iTunes store or any other digital music vendor, or re-purchase the discs to maintain your rights to the music.

The other media, purchased from the iTunes store or other digital merchants, is still legitimate. Recovering your matched or uploaded tracks is as easy as downloading them in iTunes.
