You can only get apps from the app store...no where else. Most developers no longer support the original iPhone, & Apple has announced "End of Life" for that model as well.
You need to purchase a new phone.
There are still a lot of vintage apps currently available for 3.1.3 or earlier. Trouble is finding them. Here is one method,
