Apple Mail Problems

I am having problems with mail showing up in my inbox on Apple Mail. The e-maill address is an bellsouth.net extension. It works on Web based mail and my iphone but will not show up on Apple Mail on my MBP. I have tried rebuilding the mailbox to no avail. any suggestions?
