I have several iPod Classic devices and a couple of shuffles on my iTunes account, how do I remove some of the old devices from my iTunes account and is this preventing me from adding another Classic iPod? Thank you.

iTunes can sync with any number of devices. There is a limit of 5 computers that can be authorized simultaneously to your account, and another limit of 10 computers and/or iOS devices that can be registered for automatic downloads of your purchases.
