Q: I used to connect to the server but now it won't connect
I work in an office with a shared drive server. We recently moved our eMac from one corner of the office to the other.
It connects fine to the internet, but when I try to log on to the server, it gives me the following message: "Connection failed. The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and your network connection and try again."
Then it will display another pop up window that says, "Connecting to Server: The finder cannot complet the operatoin because some data in "afp://172 ... could not be read or written. (error code - 36)
Other computers in the office are connecting to the server without issue. Help!
