Odd error when trying to load Nikon Capture NX2

Hi tried to install the Nikon software and get this message "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)" "Couldn't open ".Capture NX Setup.pkg"." Ive downloaded the file from Nikon and its the latest version, mounted the disk image and then run the install app, then the message. my Imac is running 10.7.5.

Any guidance appreciated
