Question

Mail sent from my iPhone 4S stopped showing in Outlook

Hi,

Till Monday all was fine with the way mails sent from my iPhone 4S / iPad would also show up in my Outlook 2007 sent folder.

This suddenly stopped in case of mails sent from the iPhone and I cannot seem to find a solution, have attempted a reboot of the phone , deleted and redone the email account ( gmail apps account ) , checked all settings on the email account , deleted and reinstalled the account in Outlook as well .

Any clues anyone ??? Thanks in advance for the help

Check,

Settings > Mail > Always BCC myself > On

Always BCC myself is about half way down in that Mail menu and do make sure that that is switched to on.

I am not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but it is how I use email on my iPhone.

I read about this as well , however I was not using this option earlier and the mails were showing up in Outlook.

Have just found that the in Mailbox Behaviour settings only draft mailbox and deleted mailbox are showing , the sent mailbox that is supposed to be there is missing , am wondering if that could be the cause.

What you did a reboot, was that a reset?

Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.

Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.

Had done that reboot / reset drill as well , infant have just done it once again .... no change ....

Thought I would also mention that if I use the GMail mobile app to send mails from my iPhone , they are showing up in Outlook 2007, however if I configure the same email account under Mail, Contacts and Calenders the sent mail does not show up in Outlook 2007
