May 23, 2013 12:59 PM in response to Allan Genglerby Russ H,★HelpfulThere may be a FCP limit but I haven't read about it or run into it.
I believe there is a limit of 99 markers per track in DVDSP.

May 24, 2013 7:40 AM in response to Allan Genglerby Allan Gengler,For any who this happens too----
I went and deleted all the CHAPTER MARKERS that originally were brought in as markers on the event.
I put them back in manually and the exported OK.
The only thing different I noticed was that one MARKER had an "&" in the title. I switched it to AND, so I'm just guessing with no eperical testing (since my work goes on) that the "&" may have been the problem.

there are standards.
one says a max of 18 chapters per menu page.
(which is, imho, too 'crowded').
I'm not familiar with DVDStudio, how it handles it - does it automatically create a second/additional menu-page(s)?

May 24, 2013 8:34 AM in response to Karsten Schlüterby Allan Gengler,Yes, it automatically creates additionl menu pages....... It's pretty slick.
You can set up a template and it's do it for you automatically.....
But I got it working.....

Dec 10, 2015 9:44 PM in response to Allan Genglerby stinjones412,I'm having the exact same issue. We teach music lessons, and had a big recital. I've been testing it all day, i think the limit is somewhere between 29 and 39 chapters.

Dec 11, 2015 7:07 AM in response to stinjones412by stinjones412,Just to let anyone know, removing the unintentional Enter Space resulted in the 2 hour show with 36 chapter markers, exporting successfully with a Table Of Contents. Obviously there are rules to what you can enter in chapter markers, but I can't find any documentation about it.
Who would have thunk it?!
