I'm looking for the very first Java 10.6 I need to download it to my new computer and all I can find are the updates. Anyone out there know where I can find it? Or is there something else I should be downloading. A site says I need Java to run it.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. If it is a new computer with newer software, then you need to download Java 7. The following article will sort you out.
