Looking Like the TV is On

I have a long sequence I'm working on where I have a full wide shot, and a medium shot.

The full wide shot has a blank monitor in frame. The medium shot is suppose to be on the monitor.

The way I'm editing it right now is, I'm taking the full shot and putting it on line 1, the medium shot on line 2.

I'm making the medium shot smaller and placing it over the monitor.

It works to an extent. Unfortunately, the monitor is not exactly straight, so the medium shot no matter how small I make it will not fit properly.

Isn't there a way I can place the medium shot on line 1, the wide on line 2, put some sort of matte on the monitor and have the medium shot show from underneath?

If someone could explain a way I can get this to fit, I'd appreciate it. I have quite a few sequences and want it to look good.

THANK YOU!
