Screen Sharing stopped working

I have an office setup which includes a Mac Mini as a file server. The Mac Mini os is 10.6.x. My Mac is 10.8.x. I regularly use Screen Sharing to run a program on the Mini that does not run under 10.8.x.


I just relocated the Mini and decided not to connect a screen or a keyboard/mouse. Now when I activate "Share Screen" or Logmein, the app opens and I get a black screen. If I reset the Mini, I can sometimes connect. The Mini is set to never "Sleep,"


Do I need to keep a screen and keyboard connected; any solutions?
