Q: Finding my AU synths

I have had to renew my hard drive on my iMac and have to reinstall Logic Express, but it cannot find my AU units or other bought synths.

I have found them hidden away in path Library>Library>Audio>, the plug in folder is now on my desktop, (I moved it trying to put in a logical place)  so please can anyone suggest a way to install them?

Logic Express 9, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

I'm not sure what you mean by "Library>Library>Audio," but the correct path for Logic to find your plugins is "HD>Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>Components."  Once you've put them in the Components folder, launch Logic and it should automatically scan them.  You can double check by opening your Audio Units Manager and rescanning if necessary.

Many thanks, Had to adjust all my file paths, and am solving the problems with licences.

But a simple problem which you maybe able to help with is my Midi Keyboard is not responding. I use M-Audio Firewire Audiophile interface and this works on the keyboard/mouse but no response from the keyboard.
