Trash won't empty
I have a discarded photo in the trash and I get a message saying the item is "in use" when I try and Empty Trash.
I'm not using it so how can I get rid of it?

Restart the computer (make sure that in > Restart, "Reopen windows when logging back in" is unmarked) and try to empty your Trash. If an application is using the file, it won't be opened after restarting the Mac, so you will be able to empty your Trash
