Q: sparse bundle already in use - how to solve?

My iMac (4 years old) uses a Time Capsule for backup. Every time it tries to backup, I get the message that it cannot because the sparsebundle is already in use. How do I fix?

iMac, iOS 5.1, 2.4 GHz, 3 GB SDRAM, Lion 10.7.3

Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cord back into the back of the Time Capsule

This will fix things 98% of the time. If you are in the unlucky 2% category, more help is here:

The Backup disk image ... sparsebundle ... is already in use.
