I know I can batch trim images with automator for 50% horizontal, but then it get's trimmed on both sides... I need it to get 50% trimmed on just the left/right side.
Pixelmator's Automator Actions can crop from one side.
Another option might be GraphicConverter.
But, I don't see a way to control the built-in Action in the way you need.
I could use Pixelmator's Automator recipe, and it worked like a charm!
However I have another problem now!
I rename all files with "aside", give all files in my folder a variable.
Then I copy all files and replace "aside" with "bside".
Now I crop 50% of this bside images. And "retrieve variable" aside images, crop from the other side.
My problem: The bside images also get cropped again from the otherside... How to stop this?
Everything is passed through the workflow, all input and any output.
At the top of the action that grabs the aside back again, right-click on the top of the workflow and have it ignore the input.
