Q: I have just bought an ipod shuffle and am using the same ITunes account as I set up for my son, he says he is getting any apps that I download, can do anything to stop this or will I need to set up a seperate itunes account

I have just bought an ipod and am using the same itunes account as my son (set this up for him in my name years ago), it seems that my downloads /apps are also going to his device - as we share an account?  Is there anyway to change this other than setting up another itunes account

Your son most likely has a feature called Automatic Downloads enabled. Take a look at the article below for some more information about this feature as well as how to disable it.
