May 25, 2013 12:01 PM in response to tuz frostby rkaufmann87,You can probably connect it however without knowing the year of the iMac it's impossible to tell which adapter cable you need. If you can find the specs on the iMac you have it's either going to be Mini-display port or Mini-DVI to either
DVI or VGA.
The correct adapter cable is available on Apple's on-line store. For example if it's a mini-display port to DVI you would use this adapter cable.
After you physically connect it use System Preferences - Display and then tweak as needed. Apple explains how in:

May 25, 2013 12:01 PM in response to rkaufmann87by tuz frost,got the cable and have the monitor up and working. But what is or are the tricks to dragging windows to it? Seems very simple but I am doing something wrong
