my prefereces are not coming up or edit ?
my preferences and edit file will not come up using win 7 after upgrading from xp

By default, menu bars are hidden in Windows 7. They can be temporarily shown by pressing the 'Alt' key on your keyboard.
If you'd like them permanently visible, follow the steps in the following article.
