Can't change name of Quicktime movie

Strange... I try to change the name of a Quicktime movie on my desktop.
But when I open the movie it still has the same name. Using 'save as' does not do the trick, it seems like the old name is a ghost name I can't get rid of.
Does anyone know why this is?

The title shown in the QuickTime Player (top of Player window) is created using the title "annotation". The Finder file name could be something completely different. These names (title) are also searchable via Spotlight.
Since you own Pro you can edit the annotation via the Movie Properties window. Click the Add Annotations pull down menu and there are dozens of options.
