Trackpad jumpy when Magsafe charger in.

Hi everyone,

I've recently bought a new Magsafe adapter. I've used three adapters with this laptop so far.

The first one worked perfectly fine, but it frayed and died.

The second one was a cheap non-apple ripoff which charged fine but caused static to come out of my headphones after prolonged periods.

The third one is exactly the same as the first one (at least, according to the specifications and model number) except that while it's plugged in, my touchpad becomes erratic and unresponsive. It's not completely un-usable but it's extremely annoying.

To further define the issue, i can move my mouse around but sometimes it decides to jump to a point where I clearly didn't move it to. then it may jump back or move like as if there was a hair on my trackpad causing issues. if i move my mouse around in circles, the mouse can clearly be seen jumping around, and going places where i haven't dictated it to move.

Things I have noticed

Using an external mouse does not have this same issue.

Is not an issue of overheating as my computer is not hot when the issue occurs and instantly disappears when i unplug the magsafe adapter.

Issue does not occur with my other, cheap ripoff charger.

My computer information:

Early 2011 Macbook Pro, 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM

Mac OSX Version 10.7.5

Charger information:

85W Magsafe Adapter

Model number: A1343

INPUT:

100 - 240V~1.5A

50 - 60 Hz

Any help would be appreciate, thanks.
