Snow Leopard v.10.6 : Trying to empty Trash

I am making a second attempt to perform a "Secure Empty Trash". The process quits when it reaches "Locked Files". Is it possible to complete this process?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

User uploaded fileYou can also drag the file out of the trash to the desktop, highight it on the desktop and click command I to bring uo the file info. On this pane there is a box that says locked, try unchecking it. Also see if you have read write privilages, which can be adjusted by clicking you admin name and in the right next to your name click the up/down arrows and select read &write.( you may have to click the padlock and enter your admin password)
